So much for that...

I've been trying to keep up with the blogging, it's not really working for me is it... Nevertheless I shall soldier on and try to keep up.
Update...well I've been going to the gym every second day so far and my jeans have been a little loose in the last couple of days. HURRAH! We may have success after all! I think it will be even better once I finish at the gym I'm at and venture on over to the gym my fake mum J (for privacy's sake) goes to. I think she'll have me whipped into shape in no time. Being a world championship person for outrigging...which requires a LOT of muscles...she knows what she's doing. (not to mention she's in her early 40's!) What an effort.

On the boys side of things...well, it's a little bleak. I had a faux date on Saturday night and it was a fizzer. We've been friends for a while and I thought there might be something there or something might develop since he's all chivalrous and nice and whatnot. Well no, turns out I'm still either A) loving the bad boys or B) still slightly liking a certain bad boy....who shall remain nameless... "T". So I really have to sort this business out and get it out of my system before I go overseas otherwise there may be a problem. Or maybe all the charming English fellows will change my mind. We can only hope.

Work is same old same old.

I bought new nail polish today. It's Rimmel (surprise surprise) and it's the cutest yellow...kinda like a bumblebees butt. Actually it's rather fittingly called "Sunshine". However after applying one coat it looks more like some form of infection. May need an undercoat before wearing this one out in public. Hmmpphhh well there goes that idea. Will have to consult my collection to find something to wear...God forbid I have bare toes!! EEEEK! I managed to do a cull of my icky nail polishes the other day and found a cute bag to put them in.
The cute bag...

And what's left....

I also managed to bag a new Nintendo DSi for the lifelong plane trip to England. It's blue and shiny and has cameras :D It's really cute. I even found a little bag in my cupboard to keep it in to retain the shiny and new-ness. Here's a pic:

While searching through the abyss that is my cupboard, I found this bag:

Not sure if it's really worth trying to add it to an outfit here since it's not really bogan chic. Or maybe it is...I dunno. I think from now on I'm going through the cupboard and shopping from there. It may work out cheaper than my shopping habits now.....

Speaking of the abyss, well it's not so much now that I've culled most of that too. But here's a pic of what's left. Pretty bleak and uninteresting but I thought I'd share anyway. Sort of a before and after. Can't wait to go to Topshop when I'm overseas. I really need to start saving hardcore!!
Clothes:

Shoes: (so many got thrown out that I don't wear or that were broken in some way or another)

Scarves: (kind of lame collection, but I've just learnt the magic of scarves and am now obsessed with them)

Earrings after the cull:

Leftover bracelets etc:

Brooches and necklaces:

Note all of these "jewels" are just some of my cheap stuff that I've managed to actually put in the right spot.
While we're at my dressing table, may as well introduce "Rambo" the fighting fish to everyone. Winston always gets a mention so I thought I'd let him get in first and have a bit of the limelight.
Rambo:

And we can't forget Winston:

This is him a few weeks after a haircut which the grooming lady didn't notify me that she didn't have combs for her clippers....he was bald!! and I mean BALD, like so bald he looked like a Chinese Crested Dog. Seriously. I was so shocked when she did the first strip up his back that I nearly cried. Then it was too late. But he has now returned to his former glory and now is back to looking like a teddy bear. Which is perfectly in time for winter (or what winter we have here).
Wow epic post, had to make up for lost time.
Starting a new ritual, for the end of each post:
I'm currently listening to "La Nuit" by Robots In Disguise. Great song, even though it's in french.
Ciao! xo
